How GPA to CGPA conversion works

The reverse proportional method multiplies a 4.0-scale GPA by 2.5. A 3.2 GPA becomes 8.0 CGPA, 3.4 becomes 8.5, and 3.6 becomes 9.0. It is the mathematical inverse of CGPA x 0.4.
